The Colorado Art Education Association has teamed up with the Colorado Avalanche NHL Hockey Club in putting on the first ever CAEA Avalanche Art Show on Saturday, March 6th 2010! This night will celebrate March’s Colorado Youth Art Month and give the opportunity to for student’s and art professionals to display their work on the night of a Colorado Avalanche game. Presenters will be given an opportunity to speak to different individuals about their art pieces in a totally unique setting before and between periods during the Colorado Avalanche game.

Students and Art Professionals are asked to sell only 10 tickets to that night’s Avalanche game in order to participate. The number of tickets to be sold will be less depending on participation! A portion of every ticket sold will be donated back to the CAEA in an effort to raise money for student scholarship funds.

That Saturday, everyone participating in the show will be allowed early access into the Pepsi Center to set up their pieces. Easels will not be provided. Tables and chairs will be available for 3-demensional pieces. Participants and guests will be allowed to walk around the Pepsi Center to view the work.
